Your faves have been “SERVED”.
There’s a high chance you’ve recently seen some of your faves being “summoned,” served “subpoenas,” posing for mugshots, and being “charged” with various Afrobeats crimes.
Don’t panic, they’ve been summoned by Osikoya Speaks Live Afrobeats Court.

If you’re a fan of The Osikoya Speaks Podcast, then you know the annual end-of-year special, The Rundown, where Wonu Osikoya brings guests together to dissect a full year of Nigerian music.
This time, she’s taking the tradition off the podcast set and transforming it into a live, courtroom-themed cultural experience where Afrobeats conversations come alive on stage.
Set in a dramatic courtroom complete with a Judge, Lawyers, Jury, and a live audience, Afrobeats Court puts the culture itself on trial. Each session debates the most talked-about topics in Afrobeats today: the sound, the industry, the players, and the controversies.

Across six major Afrobeats categories, conversations unfold in real time, guided by a Host and heightened by a live DJ who drops records mid-argument for added cinematic effect.
Wonu Osikoya leads as Prosecutor for the People, going head-to-head with industry tastemakers serving as the Defense. The audience takes on the role of The Jury, delivering verdicts and ultimately shaping the outcome of the night. It’s Afrobeats, examined, debated, and decided—live.

This experience blends performance, debate, and participation: giving fans, artists, and insiders a platform to engage in the arguments that shape the genre’s future. From the team behind Osikoya Speaks: The Rundown, the show extends the brand’s signature mix of insight and cultural critique into a fully immersive, cinematic format.
The Court sits on 12th December, 2025.
The Jury is incomplete without you. Join the court. Grab your tickets here and join the conversation on @sikoyaspeaks.
