On April 13 2024, a pioneering production by TheoRe tagged ‘My Kreative Mind’ happened at The Vault in Lagos Nigeria. This groundbreaking initiative, the first of its kind in the city, delved into crucial mental health discussions tailored explicitly for creatives.
Attended by vibrant young creatives aged 18-29 from across Lagos, totaling 150 individuals. Participants seized the opportunity to network, forge new relationships, and exchange ideas.
Renowned figures such as Kemi Smallzz(Cool FM), Excel Joab(AWAL), Titilope Adesanya(EMPIRE), Kulupsy of Native Records and Kulupsy Media, Kasope Owoaje(MARS), alongside mental health professionals from CLI College, all had an insightful conversation with attendees. Discussion topics spanned confidence, building, managing working relationships, burnout management, handling rejection, and managing expectations.
My Kreative Mind emerged as a beacon of support for young creatives, providing a safe space to address mental health challenges and foster personal and professional growth.
The event was expertly hosted by Swit Ope of Hot FM and Lanre Shonubi of the BBC, who also serves as the team lead at TheoRe. Afolarin Sanusi’s meticulous production ensured the seamless execution of the event.
